TAHJ JAMAR SPIGNER,
aka. Taspii, is a 25 year old Black self-taught producer & visual artist from Orange County, California. Tahj grew up playing Jazz Trumpet.

Starting his journey into electronic music in 2018, he began learning Ableton while in college and has made massive progress since. After only 2 years of learning producing, and only months of learning Blender3D, Tahj released his first song & visual art under the name Taspii. With influence from the likes of What So Not, Mr. Carmack, Kûcka, Oski, GEOTHEORY, & Jon Casey, he aims to weave together dark and colorful sounds in a unique way with each release, paired with unique visual art. Following his curiosity, no genre is off-limits.
Taspii has released on Denali Records with All You Need & TXTR Records with Tides (feat. TetraTara), seen support from Bitbird via their Bitbird Selects Playlist, FUXWITHIT on the FUXWITHITFRIDAY playlist, Electric Hawk with a blog feature and Fresh Hunts playlist feature, Rossy via her playlist rossy's angels , and has been featured on Platform B Radio/TXTR Records' radio station. He has taken lessons and guidance from legendary electronic trap artist Jon Casey, whom massively helped Tahj find confidence in himself, his production skills, & creative vision in 2021.
Taspii has worked behind the scenes as a mastering engineer for Robert Vandal & Stewart Bradley, as well as a commissioned visual artist for Robert Vandal, TetraTara & Kyoto Black.
Taspii has also started manufacturing custom merch clothing and keychains for various artists.
Taspii is currently looking to expand into live performances.
